You'd be surprised how far that gets you.” -Neil deGrasse Tyson After writing "Getting Started," I thought - how do I stay motivated? I thought of recent projects - the dedicated time and unwavering focus, the thrill of finishing. How do I keep this momentum going? Motivation is inconstant - it comes and goes. I have moments when I feel confident in my direction, I know exactly what I want. Then there are times when starting seems impossible. All of these moments are temporary. I've learned that staying motivated even when I don't feel inspired strengthens my spirit. Motivation comes from within. It is a persistent drive that pushes us to take action toward a chosen purpose. Behind every goal, our ambition and enthusiasm pushes us to strive for success. With courage, gumption and perseverance we can reach our aspirations. Here are some ways that help me to stay motivated:
