Sky's The Limit

“I look up at the night sky, and I know that, yes, we are part of this Universe, we are in this Universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the Universe is in us. When I reflect on that fact, I look up—many people feel small, because they’re small and the Universe is big, but I feel big, because my atoms came from those stars.”  - Neil deGrasse Tyson

I love looking up, way past the trees into the expansive, vast sky. I enjoy watching the clouds roll by in this boundless, open space. The sky catches my eye and fills me with curiosity. I am amazed at this natural beauty.

The elements of the sky surprise me. I love how the sun and the clouds stir up a beautiful sunrise. I enjoy watching airplanes soar across the sky and I wonder - where are they going? I like the time between sunset and dusk - the half-lit sky illuminates the horizon before it fades into darkness. In a few hours, this vast open space will transform into a melting pot of celestial bodies.

When I look up at the sky, I feel optimistic. My imagination deepens and I feel free to dream. When I stare at the immense space above me, my senses are heightened and uplifted. I am filled with a limitless supply of creativity, love and openness. How do you feel when you look up at the sky?

In my opinion, the sky tells a different story every day. There is another world in the sky. When I'm flying in an airplane above the weather, the clouds resemble mountains and valleys made from cotton. The night sky is a different experience. I witnessed a moonbow the other night. This to me is a symbol of protection. I stopped and stared up for a minute. No matter what I am doing, if something beautiful is happening in the sky, I stop and enjoy that moment.
