![]() “It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want—oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!” - Mark Twain Spring is in the air. The days are getting longer and the air is warmer. The light is golden and summery. I love the fresh scent of a spring morning. The sweet fragrance of the earth and the vivid colors of nature awakens my senses. This transition from our winter months to warmer days sparks fresh ideas for new projects. I feel energized and more receptive for new beginnings. I have the urge to spring clean and purge, to start fresh. Springtime provokes my youthful spirit to surface. Lingering thoughts of adventure and hopeful aspirations are new promises I make to myself. I love Spring, anything is possible. What do you like most about Spring?

I love receiving a handwritten letter in the mail. It's exciting to open my mailbox and see an unexpected envelope waiting for me. There's a thrill of curiosity upon seeing this surprise. I enjoy every part of a letter - from the details of the envelope (the postmark, the stamp on the right hand corner, the senders handwriting) to the unrevealed written message.
I have always loved writing letters too. The experience of writing a letter is very special. Letters have no limits of creative expression - they can be a handmade envelope, a simple note or a unique drawing. Writing opens me up to freely express my thoughts and share current ideas or events in my life. A handwritten letter is personal, tangible and real. Sending a letter to someone is a wonderful way to let them know that they are thought of. It makes me happy knowing that my letters can brighten someone's day. I enjoy dedicating my time to write someone a heart-felt message. For today, unplug and write a thoughtful letter to someone special. ![]() I love making lists. Lists are so much fun and easy to make. They help me stay organized and they inspire me to create. I enjoy seeing my ideas in front of me. Writing or drawing my ideas on paper sparks new inspirations, goals and possibilities. What kind of lists do you like to make? Here is a short list of a few of my favorite lists:
Blue: |bloo| noun. the pure color of a clear sky; the primary color between green and violet
in the visible spectrum, an effect of light with a wavelength between 450 and 500 nm. I love the color blue. Blue reminds me of the sea. I love to sit by the water and watch the waves. The sea is a moving blue gem. It can be smooth like glass or rough, jagged swells. Like the ocean, the color blue can be soft and subtle or dark and mysterious. Blue makes me feel calm, expansive and inspired. What does the color blue bring up for you? |
